James S. Copeland D.C., F.I.A.M,A.
Dr. James Copeland, graduated from The Cleveland
Chiropractic College of Kansas City, Missouri, in 1977. He has practiced in
both Oklahoma and Missouri , and has been on the faculty of Logan College of
Chiropractic since 1996, where he is a clinic faculty member.
Dr. Copeland is certified to practice acupuncture , and is affiliated with
the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and the Auriculotherapy
Certification Institute. In addition, He is a member of the American
Chiropractic Association and the Missouri Chiropractor's Association.
Dr. Copeland served as a college soccer and basketball team chiropractor for
over 10 years while practicing in Oklahoma in the 1980's.
He has written numerous articles for various publications on martial arts
injuries. He has been a coach and martial arts sports official in the past.
PRACTICE EMPHASIS:
Dr. Copeland feels that a very broad approach to certain health conditions
is the best way to deal with the many different conditions seen in his
office. After 30 years of experience in the profession, his goal for
patients is to address the root causes of their problems and deal with those
rather than symptoms alone. To accomplish this, he follows the following:
1. Re-establish structural balance whenever possible.
2. Rebalance the body's electrical system ( with acupuncture )
3. Help rebalance the patient's nutrition habits.
4. Detoxify the body when needed.
5. Strengthen the immune and hormonal system
6. Recognize certain negative emotional patterns associated with ill-health
and help the patient to deal them.
